Best Christmas ever.

Found our oldest cat passed away in my daughter's room tonight. She had a mammory tumour and we knew her time was coming but we thought we'd have time to get her into a vet and have options. She was just sleeping. And she's gone. And I'm heartbroken.
Pay no mind to my husband staring lovingly at the cat.
Back at it with the dog talk. Ignore me if you're over it
I've emailed twice about dream dog and havent heard back from them and I'm upset.
I just want to meet him. Is that asking too much?
I miss you all the time.
I think that's why I want a dog so bad. Another cat could never come close to you. (Billy is alright. Bubby likes him. Hes tolerant. Him and olive get along. but hes absolutely no you.) Maybe having a dog in our family, I wont feel so empty without you.
It's about to be our second christmas without you. I wont have you to sit on my lap while the kids open gifts. Your stocking will remain empty.
Holidays are rough without you. I miss playing fetch with you and your new toys all afternoon.
Sometimes I feel silly. For getting this emotional about you. But you were never just a cat to me. Or your dad. God, he loved you so much. We got lucky when we found him, huh? We miss you all the time and talk about you all the time. You were so loved. You were our first baby. It was hard on us all. Losing you. We are never going to stop loving you, tuna fish.

Sorry (not sorry) all I talk about is wanting a dog lately. I just think one would be really great for my mental health/ the kids energy and daily routine, okay?
I really want a big dog but Tavo is pretty intimidated by them. But I finally found a breed of dog I like that he approves of!! Yaaaaaaay.
I mean I discovered the breed because theres puppies at a shelter/rescue near by. And they probably wont be available by the time were able to get a dog. So those ones specifically probably wont be our future pup. But the fact that theres a big dog hes okay with, I'm gonna keep an eye out for those guys.
