in sydney I got a big military surplus canvas backpack to go travelling with, a beautiful piece of textile apparently from Malaysia, a really old african woven sling pouch, a brown 70s a-line collared dress, some super rare Destroy platforms (for like $50!!!), a TONNE of striped socks, a 70s/80s blue kids t-shirt with ‘number 33′ written on the front, a brand new and still wrapped vintage oven mitt from the 70s with mushrooms on it (gift for kaytee) plus an amazing selection of second hand CDs (Brian Eno, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Dinosaur Jr, Sugarcubes, The Glove, Mort Garson, etc.), I Love Dick by Chris Kraus, On Photography by Susan Sontag, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, and I Paint What I Sea by Phillip Guston.
