I am a massive fan of Pen15, so this may be only slightly biased.

Maya Erskine is in fact a genius. Whenever she talks about her parents in any piece of media, I get misty-eyed.

This is a perfect romcom, but it isn’t perfectly formulaic like other romcoms. It is hurtful, yearning, aching, hot, sweet, with characters you can’t help but adore.

Oh my god, I LOVE when they put weird girls in rom coms. For fuck’s sake, weird girl representation in the romcom genre is few and far between. She makes the conversation far more real. And more heartbreaking at times?

Watch this if:

you read Wattpad fanfiction in your highschool years

while reading said fanfiction, you scoured the ‘friends to lovers’ tag, maybe even the ‘meet cute’ tag

I'm a softie for friends to lovers storylines and this was a good one!!! This video doesn't do the film justice from all the little jokes. Go watch this film if you havent already!!

I watched 'Plus One' last night and havent laughed like that in quite a whie, I loved the character Alice, Maya Erskine was amazing. Jack Quaid and Maya were fab together, made me laugh and made me laugh and also had a lump in my throat in the more emotional moments.
