Hi Anna! I enjoyed reading your thoughts on some of the f1 drivers and their Hogwarts houses and I was wondering in which Hogwarts house you would sort Robin, Nico and Antonio?
Hey Mari!! I’ve been thinking about this ask ever since I got it and to be honest, it’s tough. Friends have been consulted (mostly @k-raikkonen and @robinjuncadella) and lots of sources have been used.
Robin is a Hufflepuff. His friends are everything to him, the way his face lights up when he’s around his friends. He lives in the present, almost week by week, which could be a remnant from the uncertainty in his junior career. He goes with his gut. If he doesn’t like someone, he shows them, but when he does like them he’s one of the nicest people (offering two fans a ride to the train station). He’s not one for ideals, he cares more about whether works instead of it being moral. Him wanting to help young kids in karting after he retires is another great example. He could be sorted into Gryffindor as well because of most of his defining traits being shared between the two. One big Gryffindor thing he has is that’s he’s not afraid of confrontation. He meets the world head-on. However, he’s not really one to focus on ideals that and him being incredibly loyal makes him a Hufflepuff.
Antonio is a Gryffindor. He wants to experience everything the world has to offer. He has a silly side to him and does a lot to make his friends laugh. He’s incredibly driven and committed. When he was a junior he worked his ass off to achieve his dreams, forgetting to go home. We’re all familiar with the many trips he takes with his many different friends, he’s someone who holds groups together, unites people who wouldn’t know each other otherwise (Mitch joining the LA trip with Toni and his friends is a good example). He goes with his gut and above all, trusts himself. On the other hand, he has some Ravenclaw in him. He tries to develop himself outside of racing, to be more than just a robot driving the car. His creativity (photography, opening a restaurant with his brother) as well. He also tries to break the mould of the average racer, he wants to expand it.
Nico is a tough one. There isn’t really much to find on him that isn’t in Swiss German. He’s giving me Ravenclaw vibes though, not sure why, a bit of Hufflepuff as well. Maybe I’ll give sorting him another shot once the FE season is underway because we’ll surely get more Nico content then.
