My current stock of made plushies! Gonna double it for Geekcraft Expo PDX in June! It’s gonna be a lot of work but I think I can do it!

So while I haven’t posted any drawn art- I have been doing other mediums this month :0

I’ve tried my hand at resin and have had a couple of successes thus far- and I have also been making giant D20s out of fleece or quilting fabric.

I mostly just made this stuff for my friends and family, but hey- if you want to commission me, we can talk prices :)

So first I wanted an idea for how big this thing was gonna be. So this is like, the rough model?? XD

And then triangles and fusible interfacing is added to help it keep shape. This first one did not have a sturdy interfacing. But I mean- this is for my best friend who don’t care :O Who would like leopard print? Her.

Had a time free handing a bunch of numbers to cut :)

Max squish. Much fun to peg at heads. Most landed on number? 16.

Next one is a galaxy one for my brother. Thought I’d cut the corners off to make it easier on myself. Spoiler, it didn’t work.

I ended up with large holes at the corners. Huge pain in my ass.

BUT I’m in the process of painstakingly sewing every corner up with gold string and giving it pompom corners to hide the holes :0

Learned my lesson. Didn’t cut corners. This one is a commission for a friend :OO

Sewing with ribbon between the sides was a challenge. BUT

It comes out looking nice and the shapes are obvious. It added sooooo much time.

Tons of pins. Tons of times I was POkeDD

BUT. It came out great!

This d20 is too big to fit in our dice bags, but it is nice to hug. The numbers glow in the dark!
