"so... i really really hate dirt. my owners Dreamdrop clipped and washed and dusted my hooves... then i took a WALK.... ugh.. i hate this.. i don't want to walk ever again...." - Dollop (they/it)
meet Ally, a nonbinary plush we got as a gift. they use any pronouns. looovveeee herrr.. this is pics from 2 days cause we "forgot" to bring a plushie but found him in our bag so, helped us from having panic attack on beach. literally we dont go anywhere out of our home with no plush...
While furniture shopping with a friend, I encountered some crimes against animal-themed decor.
ID: A plush deer head, mounted on the wall to resemble a hunting trophy. Grayish brown and kind of cute and funny. In the background, a cheesy bald eagle statuette.
ID: A horrible sculpture intended, one supposes, to resemble a bucking stallion, made of brass or a similar metal. He has visible testicles, and three back legs, and weird proportions.
I just think that these would be such a good offering to Diana. Their just adorable🥹
My Build-a-Bear reindeer are probably my pride and joy of the Build-a-Bear line as I have been collecting these ones for years and it has become something of a yearly tradition where I have the day off from work and I go to the mall with my dad where I buy a reindeer and make it. Usually it is the great kick-off to the holiday season and for me it is a fun way to celebrate my birthday with my dad! This year I created a few reindeer, pictured below and their names are Mattias and Jürgen.
I make plush as well as art and mistakes 😛
I have really been wanting to make a thin, long legged deer (or unicorn) quadruped. (We already know my upright jointed one, and my chibi deer, whose pattern I was tweaking too...) Finally sketched one I liked. Here is first test of the main pattern (tail/ears are sewn on separate). Not perfect but I’m pretty happy for it being a first go. Butt is a little too big. Hoof color for this would be painted on. Also fur fluffs on hoofs could be added! This style could only be made with minky, doe suede (or similar), and fused cotton due to the complexity and thin legs. The legs are stuffed super firm, no wire! Wire would be cool though for extra posing.
