"Welcome to a place where dreams come true. A family diner where a magical talking bear and rabbit sing and play with children while the most delicious food is prepared for them and their close ones." … Yes, these advertising banners are perceived completely differently now. One can only wonder where the owner of the establishment is hiding now.
Good day from me, everyone! I've decided to take on my big FNaF AU again, with a loose retelling of the games’ plot. This time, I decided to imagine what the golden duo may look like. In this story, their names are Fruitbear and SpringBun (It's very important for Spring that Bun be capitalized. He is a very hard to understand sometimes, but oh well). No questions or complaints about the original names, the changes are due to lore reasons. Incidentally, Crying Child’s Fredbear plushie is called Berry here.

"It's okay kid, you're part of me too"
Do not throw away gifts the Puppet decides to give you. You can turn them down But if the Giver is insistent accept the gift. Let your inner kid live a little
Gregory didn't see the reaching strings until he was yanked up, his feet leaving the ground, and pulled over a counter. He gasped in shock, but quickly muffled the noise as he scrambled to hide under the counter.
Roxy sniffed around, angry growls and harsh words leaking out before, with one final howl, clanging footsteps rushed away. Gregory nearly stepped out, but the strings held firm.
"Little boy~" Was that...Vanessa? Except, something sounded wrong. Instead of the harsh annoyance, her voice was sugar-sweet. "Sweetheart, don't you want to play with me?"
Gregory stayed silent.
Finally, there was a sigh, and footsteps padded against the carpet. When a door opened and closed, he relaxed, as did the strings.
He looked up and nearly had a heart attack.
Something was watching him. It almost resembled the Daycare Attendant, but its body was made of white and black, with white stripes running across its limbs. Splatters of white created a galaxy look, especially when Gregory squinted and realized that smaller speckles of purple, blue, and pink mixed with the white. It wore bells on its wrists and around its neck, almost hiding the strings that stretched out.
It stared back with dark sockets.
Gregory sat, frozen. After a few minutes, it didn't seem like it would move- at least, not to harm. He sat up. The puppet didn't move.
"...thanks." he said, finally.
He stood and looked around. It looked like nobody else had poked their heads in-
Something tapped his shoulder.
Gregory nearly jumped onto the counter. He whirled around. The puppet pulled back. It held up the spindly finger it had poked him with and turned to a present box. Instead of the clean, futuristic gleam of the Pizzaplex, it looked battered and worn, a purple bow clearly struggling to stay on.
It matched the golden bear plush the puppet pulled out.
It almost looked like Freddy, except the fur was a soft yellow color, with a purple hat and tie. A microphone sat in one hand. There was a weird look about the eyes, but it still looked soft.
"...it looks nice?"
The puppet held it out, almost insistently.
"Do you...want me to take it?"
It nodded.
Gregory reached out and took it. The fur was soft, like he thought, softer than anything else he had found. He couldn't resist the urge to give it a squeeze.
"Thank you," he said, giving the puppet a nod before he headed around the counter. He needed to get to the elevator.
He didn't notice those strange eyes lit up.
Come on, get happy...!
