Was at the Texas State Fair yesterday 😃 it was opening day so the crowds were overwhelming (my mother and I searched for strawberry lemonade and popcorn for at least 10 minutes)

I only got on one ride. It was a very stereotypical ☮️ 60’s themed ride that played 90’s music on the speakers (though to be fair I think smells like teen spirit was a fitting choice for the ride, I’m glad I got on when it was playing that song and not wonderwall)

There were dinosaurs

They had a giant fluffy plush T. rex at one the games who was ADORABLE but impossible to win lmao. But I did get an octopus and fried Oreos. Good stuff

Also, meet my sweetheart, she is a plushie from our local aquarium and her name is Sy (yeahh, I named her after Sy Montgomery bc I was just fascinated by her "Soul of an octopus" book and becoming as close as the author to this majestic ocean world became my dream right after reading it, so I wanted this plushie to be a symbol of this goal of mine ✨✨ )

well, now I feel kinda like Wendy when she was like "yeah, Dipper, meet my new plush toy boyfriend!"
