❛ y’know, i shouldn’t really be talking to STRANGE MEN in bars. ❜ she shouldn’t be in bars at all, actually. a bad environment, & alcohol was a bad choice --- mostly because it mixed HORRIBLY with her medication most of the time. whether it counteracted what it was supposed to do, or was just plain DANGEROUS, audrey didn’t know or keep track of most of the time. she should, she was reminded of that often by her mother & her boyfriend. except, her boyfriend isn’t AROUND anymore. & she knows, maybe depending on people like she does isn’t exactly HEALTHY, either. she likes to say she’s TRYING, but some days she doesn’t believe that as much. today is one of those days.
still, her tone isn’t SERIOUS. this guy, he makes her uncomfortable for sure. but most men did. & that’s why she’s still sitting here, ENTERTAINING the conversation. ❛ --- but i’ll keep talkin’ to you if i get a drink out of it, maybe ... ❜ at this point, she’s convinced she NEEDS one to keep talking.
