You are doing, like, two things wrong right now.

Firstly: I. AM NOT. THAT FLUFFY.

I'm actually pointy as shit in a few select areas. And since you seem to be made of a plush material (from what I can tell), unless you know how to patch yourself up when disaster strikes, you'll be done for if you try to hug me in the wrong places!

In fact, here's this diagram I drew that shows you which parts of my body are dangerous to suddenly touch and which ones aren't.

Legend:

Orange - DO YOU WANT TO GET STABBED?!?!

Yellow - Fragile (for me)

Green - Safe, but not fluffy

As you can see, hugging me is not like hugging a pomeranian dog. It's more like asking to be hugged by a pile of sharp rocks with a few fragile bits. Whether you like it or not, you are probably going to get poked or stabbed if either of us goes off the deep end while hugging. And I don't want to be the reason somebody gets hurt through something as seemingly innocuous as that.

Secondly: in most cases, please ask before you try to hug someone. You scared the shit out of me from trying to hug me, and from the first point, I think you can see why.
