nevaeh had never been the kind of girl who hid how she felt nor how deeply. although she was working on it, on not wearing her emotions for the whole world to see, she still had a long way to go. so when she was looking at the other, it was hard not to see all of the emotions on her face and all of the pain she was feeling. she didn’t know what to say because she felt so many things at once. she felt like she was close to a breaking point -- like there was a tidal wave of emotions and she was drowning. “ so...it’s OVER ? ” she asked, her voice breaking along with her heart. “ just like that ? ”
