You want to know the best thing about cleaning out your closet? It's finding stuff you did not remember having, like these skinny jeans I'm wearing. This is the first time I have fit in these jeans since I was 24 years old. I rarely weigh myself because the scale is a mean girl who loves to ruin your day with her bullshit LOL. Instead, I pay attention to how my clothes fit me and how I look in pictures. It's a much more satisfying way to track your progress, and see your hard work paying off. I encourage you to break up with the scale and just dial into your nutrition and your exercise. Find some sort of exercise that you enjoy, but also challenges you to step outside your comfort zone. The scale can only give you a numerical reflection of your relationship with gravity. Don't mind me...I'm just waiting for my Nike sponsorship. LOL. Just kidding. A little bit. This time last year I was struggling to find a fitness routine I could stick to without getting bored or feeling defeated because I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I'd just walk around the gym looking lost a puppy. After a lot of trial and error or what I like to call the fitness hamster wheel I realized a few things 1. I hate the gym and most people who go there (sorry not sorry) 2. I need clear instructions but don't want to feel stupid 3. I wanted an accountability buddy for support, complaining and high-fiving 4. I did not want to leave my house to do any of this So I figured I wasn't the only person who felt like this and I was correct. So, I started the Swole Sisters virtual Fit gym.
