armor ideas for my gals

more details under the cut if anyone's curious

i'm settling for now on athena's color schemes being super bright and obvious. she wants to stand out on the battlefield.

i REALLY didn't want to settle on the stereotypical typical dark-colored hunter....but it suits her too damn well (what with her whole thing being stealth and hiding in the shadows). the outfit on the right is just what i wear in game 'cause i think it looks cool....there's too much white for it to be "canon," tho.

the outfit on the left is somewhat similar to what i have in mind for her outfit during her "exile" that starts mid season of arrivals. this is more of an outfit she accrues a bit down the line. she dresses in whatever scrap she can stitch and weld together into armor for awhile until she gets some ground under her feet again.

i'm settling on her color scheme being black, various shades of purple/dark blue(?), and accents of golds and silvers. at some point i want her to have armor that she has made using a modified practice of kintsugi ('cause it'd really suit her character of broken, but reformed into something more unique and beautiful).

Story 3 An Unintentional Crush

When Clarita, Gin, Melody, and Pluta begin to realize Luis was playing a lot of romantic or love-coded songs, they began to suspect he had developed a crush. Now they all felt compelled to decipher who their friend had a crush on, and how they were going to set him up with them. They all know that Luis is very much a loner, and they’ve all desperately wanted to see him with a partner. Was he straight? Was he gay? Melody suspected so long ago that he may be Asexual, he never really had interest in anyone before. So who could his crush be?

“Hey so… I was kind of wondering. You’ve been playing a lot of romantic songs lately. Any chance I may ask who’s on your mind?”

“... Pluta. We already went over this.. I’m afraid I just don’t see you that way.”

“Oh! No, I know. You’ve definitely been thinking of someone though. Who are they? I really gotta know!”

“Ah. I’m afraid that’s… Not the best idea.” 

“What? Afraid they’re seeing someone already? I can snoop and find out for you!”

“... I’m certain they’re already spoken for. Besides, they’re a bit out of my league anyways.”

“Oh.. Huh. I still want to help though! Please tell me who they are?”

“I’m afraid not, Pluta.”

After pressure from Melody later that night, Luis eventually admitted who his crush was. In relaying the information to Pluta, Gin, and Clarita, they realized that this really was exactly as complicated as Luis made it sound. It’s very alarming to know that your friend doesn’t just have a crush, but has completely fallen in love with Lord Death’s spouse.
