I love current Darkiplier. He has a complicated story and a true motive. He's a well crafted character that everybody loves and simps over.

I still miss old Dark though. The Darkiplier the fans created before ADWM. No real explanation to his existence, Raspy Hill, all the fanart and different versions of him the fans had. One version had his whole stomach transformed into a mouth. He was basically a creepypasta. He was more than a character, he was a phenomenon.

I can't find the fanart from that era, unless I look really hard. The new Dark has taken over, which is fitting for his character. But I miss 2016 and older Dark. I just wish it was easier to find the art.

Okay but I've noticed a trend where these characters are obsessed with things that ultimately can't reciprocate. The disc's, the memory book, the egg...

The only one that makes sense is the book, but I'm still counting it. I have no idea how crazy the disc wars were, I wasn't there for it, but I've caught the tail end of the eggpire and seen how important the book is.

It's so wild to me...

Tumblr was my first real social media site, after about a year I joined Tiktok, reddit, Insta... as thebyears went on I kinda abandone everything except Reddit and tiktok, vut now I'm back here again. And not just because of the reddit blackout, tho it explains why I'm here so much. I would be surprised if I never use reddit again if the balckout persists.

I can't believe I left Tumblr for so long, either. Not much has changed, it feels like home. I love this hellsite(affectionate).
