Our least favorite thing about coming out of a depressive episode is looking around and seeing the carnage my negligence has taken on my plant babies :( we literally *just* put out our tropicals for the summer.... Oh well, atleast we don't gotta worry about a cold snap
Sigghh... Let's recount our shame.....
There's this incredibly leggy monstera (dennie) who has been on the brink of death for the better part of two years, she has been dehydrated and sun kissed and then thrust into darkness only to be chewed on by my cat. Big thanks to @hope-system-draws for taking care of her for a bit
Anyway I just got her a moss pole so hopefully she'll recover
Then there's my snake plant which I've had for like, 4 years and I haven't watered in..... Ever, I don't think so God knows how it's still kicking
Next is this poor ficus which has seen better days that's for sure
My pothos has been doing like, weirdly well actually other then a little bit of legginess form lack of sunlight
I had to tie her up since she was covering my satin plant who, is not doing great but not to bad either
I don't even remember what this plant was (some sort of philodendron I think) I thought it died ages ago and I was just to lazy to clean out the pot but low and behold it has a sprout
I think I'ma wait till it gets a bit bigger before moving it outside with the others I'm worried about the sun being to strong with this heat wave
Then there's my perfect baby and pride and joy my verigated monstera
She's got a bit of browning but she is fairly new so not too much damage
And then there's my shame
I don't want to talk about this one.
I thiiiinnnnkkkkkk I can save him but the odds are uhh... Not in our favor.....
Anyway, point is depression sucks and people should give me more plants 👍
