i loved the xdh monster au so much😭 especially the headcanons at the end, i think it's such a cool concept!!! hopefully you don't mind me spitballing ideas off of yours but aaa thinking about the idea that the boys slowly start to get closer to y/n and start to really care for them as family/romantic interest and then once they get possessed by the witch, it might break their heart to have to fight y/n because they don't want to hurt them 😭 but the only way to save them IS to restrain them and get the witch's soul out of their body, and then knowing that it's better for them to be at peace once their soul is freed.. maybe theres some sort of witch curse loophole that lets y/n stay in their body to be with the boys if they wish😭

fighting the witch def breaks their hearts,,, like the witch is trying to kill them but it has reader's face and voice and they don't even know what will happen when they destroy the soul. but they do it anyway bc at the end they want reader to be safe, even if it means they'll leave them :( as for a loophole ….. maybe once everything is over, the witch's powers transfer over to y/n who can then stay in their body if they want??? or maybe upon reader's permission in the short amount of time they have as an unchained soul, jiseok recreates the same experiment that had reanimated him and performs it on reader
