This won’t be the last time Rei leaves the house without an umbrella. On purpose. She loves feeling the rain soak into her skin. As if it’s washing away all her stress and frustrations. It’s relaxing for her. The only downside to this is that her clothes are soaked now. She’s making a puddle on the floor where she stands. Oops...

“You.. Wouldn’t happen to have a towel or something...” Perhaps now wasn’t the best time to be showing up like this. The word unprofessional echoes in her head. “Sorry. I didn’t bring an umbrella with me.” She leaves out the part that she left it behind on purpose for a reason. Mei still intimidates her.

Rei tries her best to pull off her hoodie, but with the way her clothes practically stick to her skin, makes it more difficult than it needs to be. While her head is stuck somewhere within her hoodie, she can feel a second pair of hands helping her pry off the article of clothing. 

Once it’s successfully removed, Rei mumbles out a shy “thank you”, before taking her clothes from the other woman.

“N-no, of course not...” Words trail off and the nervousness starts creeping back into the pit of her stomach. Fingers coming to idly play with her jacket strings. In all honesty, Rei was the one who forgot. She just couldn’t help it, though. She’s been so busy lately.

Mei Mei is definitely one of those intimidating woman. Someone who you probably shouldn’t mess around with. At least, that’s the impression Rei gets whenever she’s near her. She’s only ever encountered the other woman once, in passing. Didn’t even get the chance to say a single word to her ( not like she even wanted to at the time anyway ). But that one encounter left Rei rather curious about her choice of hairstyle. And before she can even think about what she’s saying, the words come flying out of her mouth.

“Um... Isn’t it a bit uncomfortable to wear your hair in front of your face like that?”
