Everyone Needs A Little Bit Of Free Time (Now And Then) || OPEN
It had been a dull day. Actually if he were to be brutally honest it had been a dull week. Maybe even close to a month by now. Sure there were big things happening but compared to what he knew, it was nothing. Spaceship crashing in the middle of the city, he thought to himself, mysterious humanoid people seen around and investigating the crash. It was all child's play to him. He'd seen a million and one crash landings; with a million and two different species walking out of them.
"How does the Doctor stand being around all these humans all the time. I can't even stand a few weeks of being near them."
The Master cleared his throat as the bartender looked at him suspiciously. Perhaps he was talking a bit too loud. It would do him no good to publicly criticize the humans here. With his sonic screwdriver he could likely still take them, but it was an awfully long walk to the next bar and that was not on his agenda for the day.
He was rudely interrupted from his thoughts as someone sat down next to him in a huff. By now he understood humankind's strange affliction to be extra dramatic when mad but whoever this was seemed like they wanted to ground zero the entire bar by sitting down. Although thinking about it now he sure hoped whoever this was wasn't actually able to do such a thing. Against his better judgement however he spoke up.
"Hey. Listen. I know you're likely here just to get drunk, but don't you people usually like to do that, oh I don't know." The Master nudged his head over at an empty booth. "Alone."
Moon lit walk
Wili huffed and pushed himself off his hammock. The waters had been calm all day, so he hadn't caught a wave in far too long. Even though it was late in the night, Wili was bursting with energy.
"Shoots, brah I can't sit still no more." He muttered to himself as he wandered off of Wai Beach and into the forest, following the path laid out for him by the bits of moon light that peeked through the trees.
The heat was unbearable lately, even with the large trees providing shade. Layla wiped at her brow and leaned against the trunk of a tree, fanning herself with her green fan. Finally unable to take anymore, the young Bellossom decided to take a quick route to the nearest lake she knew.
Layla knew that the water tribe was known, well, for their abound water resources so taking refuge there from the hot sun was an option for her. The lake was nestled in between the flying and water tribe, hidden well among the trees. It was also her favorite hiding place whenever she wanted to get away from all the commotion in her village.
Taking off her sandals and dipping her feet into the lake, Layla sighed in content as the fresh water cooled her down. She closed her eyes and kicked the water, letting her worries drift away.
A New Day
It was early in the morning and now that the Lokahi Festival finished a few days ago, Layla was back to her regular duties. The grass tribe was particularly quiet today and Layla thought it might be because the villagers were worn out and tired from the festival.
She walked out into her garden, the air crisp around her. Layla smiled to herself, knelt down on the grass, and began to attend to the various flowers. Tulips, roses, daises, and other flora surrounded her, the dew on their petals glimmering from the sunlight. Lastly, she made sure the Floran Flaman was in tact. It was bright red, a contrast to all the other flowers in her garden. Noting that everything was all right, Layla set off with a basket, walking through the shrubby areas and picking berries from a bush.
"Ah, the berries look ripe today!"
