Just in case anyone was unclear on what PMJB is or means. What it is: Chris, Justin, and myself cover mostly punk rock songs but we do them acoustic. I say “mostly” because we also have been known to cover some songs out of the punk rock genre (Tom Petty, Creedence Clear Water Revival, Dramarama). It’s fun. What is means: “Playing Music Just Becsuse” it’s a line from the NOFX song Dinosaurs Will Die. I think that line is powerful and lacking hard today. Life has been rough as of late and I’ve found myself singing more. In my car and I’ll even sing on study breaks. This might not sound out of the ordinary if you know that I used to sing, a lot. But I stopped singing and listening to music in general around 2015. I’d listen occasionally but it always almost out completely. Especially singing. I think I felt that I needed a reason to sing, like I was training or preparing for something. I’ve fallen back in love with singing. It’s been helping my current situation.
