Real Ayodhya in Nepal, Lord Ram not Indian: Nepal PM Oli
Raising an issue, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said on Monday that "real" Ayodhya is in Nepal and not in India. He also said that Lord Rama was a Nepali, not an Indian. He was born in Thori, southern Nepal, Oli said. The angry Prime Minister was speaking at the Prime Minister's residence in Kathmandu on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Nepali poet Bhanubhakta. Oli said that Nepal "has fallen prey to cultural encroachment and its history has been manipulated." Oli said, "Though important Ayodhya is in Thori, west of Birganj, India has claimed the Indian site as the birthplace of Lord Rama." In fact, Ayodhya could be a village west of Birganj, ”he said, adding that marriage between the bride and groom at such a distance was not possible at a time when there was no communication and transportation. Prime Minister Oli quoted his press adviser Surya as saying, "There is a place near Birganj, near Birganj. The real Ayodhya, where Lord Rama was born. There is a lot of controversy over Ayodhya in India. But, there is a dispute in our Ayodhya Is not. " Thapa. He said that the Valmiki Ashram is in Nepal and hence the sanctum sanctorum, where King Dasharatha performed the rites to woo the son, is in Ridi, which is in Nepal. As Dasaratha was the ruler of Nepal, it is natural that his son Rama was also born in Nepal, Oli argued. Therefore, the real Ayodhya is in Nepal, he claimed. Read the full article
