Trevor knows that Peteās never exactly had the opportunity to be treated right for Valentineās Day. Ā Largely because Carol clearly didnāt care about him, and sheās the only person that heās been with until now.
Obviously, the whole being a ghost puts a bit of a damper on Trevorās ability to treat Pete right for the holiday, but there were a few things he could do, and he knows that Jay would do anything for his man, Pete.Ā
So, he plans.

Pete lets Trevor lead him by the hand outside to the gazebo.Ā Heās not quite sure to expect after Trevor says that he has a surprise for him, especially since most of the other ghosts are at Jayās restaurant since itās busy for Valentineās Day.
āI know that you havenāt exactly had the best Valentineās Day dates in life, but Iām hoping that despite the limitations, I could give you the best Valentineās Date in your afterlife,ā Trevor offers, gesturing at his favorite meal spread out over a tiny table for two with a rose in a vase, a candle and an open box of chocolates.

āJay said heād do anything for his man Pete, soā¦ it was surprisingly easy,ā Trevor offers as if Pete knows that there was probably some sort of negotiation going on.Ā āI know we canāt actually eat any of it, but we can smell itā¦ā
Pete smiles, honestly touched by Trevorās efforts, and gives him a kiss.Ā āThis is brilliant.Ā Thank you, Trev.ā
