My random thoughts.

It's really difficult to find time to write on here about my journey at school but I'll be posting some awesome pictures tomorrow. My last post was back in July so it's been a while but so much to say and talk about. School has been great! Hands down the best decision I've ever made was walking into that building and signing up for the cosmetology program. At the beginning of this year I had made a commitment to myself to focus on my future and attempt my hardest to not let external distractions of any sort get in the way. It's been difficult; I've had my good days and my bad days but the support of many great friends have kept me motivated. This year is almost over and I'm happy with everything I have been able to accomplish thus far. I literally feel that I have been becoming a better person, a better version of myself that for longest time I felt was lost for good. This feeling is what I hope to continue to hold on to, this emotion of personal growth. I feel a sense of serenity has come over me in the past few months and it makes me happy to feel so at ease with everything. I know life is far from perfect but I suppose that ease comes from accepting that there are things I can't change and things I can (like my outlook on life). :)

I've set goals for myself and will stop at nothing to accomplish them. One of them being to move out of FL within the next year or so and nothing is going to change my mind (Just thinking about it puts a big smile on my face.) . There are many other little goals as well but that one is my main focus at the moment. 

P.S. I'm not one to be religious on the social media but I am thankful to God for everything.

Paul Mitchell the School-Tampa 2 days before Orientation

I am so excited to start class next week! Orientation is Wednesday and I have no clue what to expect and I dont even care! Cosmetology is something Ive always wanted to do since I was 10 years old (I found the letter in the back of the Bible note:age 10 lol).I did the tour, filled out another application, came back the next week to pay the appllication fee, scheduled an appointment with the financial advisor, recieved addtional papers to return, filled those out and fax them. NOW..... I wait! :-D
