i tried my best to draw them in the artsyle or at least something close, i had an original design thing for them and they looked.....fine THIS ONE IS BETTER THOUGH i have entire lore for them and everything so like below the cut is my ramblings!! if ur interested!!
haiii ok so like the fact that the psychonauts have cannon comic books in the world is sooososo interesting to me and ik its most likely not like gendered like how most things tend to be irl but! this is going off of the thought that the main psychonauts comics is aimed towards boys specifically.
the drawing above is meant to be a mid point of their timeline because i didnt wanna draw 18 different drawings ill do it eventually
The Story:
the main 6 where just normal psychonauts agents that started their own thing of helping with psychic friendship stuff specifically because friendship matters to them literally so much, unlike the show mlp fim they dont typically help with big villains or anything like that they're called in specifically to help sort out friendship problems, make the world a better place by helping with relationships and the sort.
and so the psychonauts marketing team was like "ok chill, we can make girl comics now" and so they did and then years pass and they all slowly start to hate their jobs and not being able to focus on their own relationships makes them all start to resent little things about eachother, except for twilight who does her best to keep them all together.
pinkie leaves first the moment the job started to feel un-fun she leaves to try and have ANY other job ending back at her family's rock farm, rarity next because she wanted to pursue fashion, aj leaves next to take over her own familys farm, and then fluttershy holed herself away just stopped showing up to work at all.
leaving twi and rainbow with their jobs of which they love even without the friendship problems and constant missions, well kinda- rainbow missed the constant missions so much shed take any missions she could.
twilight taking solo missions herself just to keep herself busy, until they started taking interns and she became a mentor for many interns including her own little brother (spike)
by the time first game rolls around twilight stopped taking in interns locking herself in her own office and falling into a depression, her brother moved on to not being and intern and she just REALLY misses her friends, rainbow continues with her random missions loosing passion in it all a bit but loving the active part of the job keeping her mind off of everything
and by the second game when Coach, milla, and sasha are no longer watching over whispering rock summer camp, rainbow take over their spot and re-gains her love for the job a bit loving taking care of kids and teaching them what she knows but she also just kinda misses her friends and even her colleagues, and twilight, at the end of pn2 gets forced to mentor raz by Truman, he hopes it would get her to work again but also raz just kinda needs a mentor.
and well shes not really doing great shes calling him spike and complaining about her friends leaving and missing them and then raz just decides to take matters into his own hands reading his own fair share of their comics decides to friendship solve, with twilight by his side giving him access to all of the psychonauts amenities they travel together and convince everyone to just talk to eachother?? helping them by going in their minds along the way
ok im sorry that was so rambley i hope someone reads this even tho it is and talks to me about it!!!!! im gonna try to draw more but please i will talk about this all day
