hi. i was hit with really difficult news today that my dad has a rare form of metastatic spleen cancer.

i’m going to take a break for a bit to process everything because i feel really fearful, distraught, and scared right now. i don’t really have the words for it yet, and i need some time to sit with it and be with my family.

WWBO - Chapter 2 - Heartstrings

Without a second thought and what was likely pure instinct, Stolas took the other into his arms and twittered quietly, his voice turning melodic and soft, deep from sleep. He was so accustomed to this after years of caring for his daughter that he didn’t think twice about it, just sliding his hand down the imp’s bare back and over his shivering spines. It started just as humming, distant melodies from memories long past, but then turned into more familiar ones. It was softer, less powerful, but it felt right to be more delicate right now.

So i decided to post Chapter 2 early for the sake of making Saturday my upload day & me being hella impatient and really wanting to post this one since it is my favorite chapter of this fic. This is a REDRAW of my original drawing so i will include that under the cut.

The shitty version of the drawing above, two versions actually cuz i didn't like this drawing from the start and messed with it the night after i drew it too lmao. can't believe there's such a short time between these pics and the one i just did.

Also we have this extra sketch requested by one of my friends @yuzanrath or @mdzs-owns-my-ass-i-guess (i can't recall which one) asking for the frog kigurumi. point to who can tell which frog the kigurumi is based on haha, its a video game character~
