Another day, another journey 😊 Tonight for @lesetesdeladanse at La Seine Musicale I dance Little Mortal Jump by Alejandro Cerrudo 🖤 This piece is a newer addition to my repertoire so I’m still smoothing out the kinks while trying to continue to stretch my limbs past their natural boundaries. I couldn’t help but think of Romeo et Juliette while doing this shoot with @lindsaythomasphoto 🎀 I danced Juliette many times in various places, but probably most of all in France. It feels strange to be here and not dancing something Maillot :-( Focusing specifically on the works of Jean-Christophe Maillot helped connect me deeply to myself, my inner voice, and made me a more aware artist from the outside looking in, and how that can impact and audience. I miss him and his work constantly but know those 8 years with BMC enriched not only my dancing, but my whole life. My life that I had in France is now just a sweet, sweet memory, but I’ve been able to relive little moments with PNB peeps which has been so fun :-) So grateful to be back in France and performing in Paris!! ♥️🇫🇷♥️ #pnbontour #pnbinparis #grateful #life #ballerina #amour #eternal #juliette #forever (at Paris, France)
