I'm not impressed with item's performance on cheesecake. Item may work better on a normal type cake with frosting. It squashed the cheesecake, and wouldn't cut completely down to the crust. You're supposed to slice into a cake, squeeze slightly, lift up, transfer to serving plate by loosening grip. It did not work that way for me.
