Hi Auselysium! First, my sincere congratulations for the publishing of ATWO! Amazing! I'll definitly go buy it. I always loved the story, and here's the thing I'd like to ask you. I had saved Pocket Pass on AO3, before you took it down. Now there's someone in the fandom who'd love to read it, but I wanted to ask for your permission first, before I share it. Hi thanks for asking! I’ve gotten this ask before and since the release date is coming - APRIL 1 - it’s probably time I address this!
Obviously, I have no control over who downloaded PP before I took it down and can’t control who shares it now. In a way, I’d almost rather not know that it’s getting shared, if that makes sense!? Like something on the black market. lol
That being said, I feel like ATWO is a far better book. It’s obviously been edited by professionals and brings a new light to the story with original characters.
It’s a very strange feeling because they feel like two completely different works to me now. PP was fanfic. ATWO is it’s own story that just happens to follow the same plot. Liam isn’t just a slightly changed version of Elio, he’s a new character completely. Zach feels so far from Oliver that I sometimes struggle to remember that is who he started as.
I know this is a question I’m going to have to contend with once the book is out there and getting reviews etc. I don’t have any shame with PP. It was seriously one of the best writing and fandom experiences of my life! The whole fandom was incredible the whole way through and I love you all for it. But ATWO just feels different and I hope it can stand on its own, as truly original story.
So I guess, I’d say - share away! But remember that there is a different version out there that is better, more compact, more precise, more interesting, and I hope - more moving.

Lastly - and this is big! - ATWO’s release as been moved up by my publisher. It is now coming out (get it?) on APRIL 1, 2021! And that’s no April Fool’s joke.

First off, thanks a million for hanging with me through all of this. I’m a “feeler” so ever little bit of this journey has been something I’ve felt keenly.
The good news, however, is that all of my materials are with the Editor-in-Chief at Literary Wanderlust and now it’s just a matter of time before I’m officially put on the production schedule.
That means cover revels!

Finally some good news!
Got an email from my editor today saying she'll be sending my final manuscript to the editor-in-chief by the weekend!
I really needed that boost!
I'm also thinking of dipping my toe back into fanfic. Versailles? Community? Who knows. 😊
Just got an email from my editor saying that she’ll be “even less responsive over the next three weeks” so I basically feel like my book is NEVER going to get published.
I’m super annoyed. Any excitement or support I had is going to be long gone.
Add this to the fact that my 2nd book is moving at a similar snails pace I’m ready to just pack it all in, tbh.
