Oh, if he wasn't in Leblanc , he would be laughing. Instead, he takes a sip of the house blend he ordered. It wouldn't matter. Things will fall into place. All he has to do is wait it out.

He looked at Kusuru with a smile, though he remembered that he admitted that his mother died. He takes another sip of his coffee, eyes closed for a bit.

Stepping out to the small platform, feeling the chill of the icebergs come to her feet. As the music began to start, her opponent tossing out Wishwashi and Passimian, her own Aromatisse and shiny Glaceon took the stage of ice. Now this was more her style. Hearing the music kick up, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit. It could work, it could most certainly work! What was with her and dubstep music?

"Good luck! Let us begin!" She called to him with a small smile on her face. Hands resting at her chest, she snapped her fingers for the first combo to initiate and strike. Hearing her snap, Eos and Hau'oki looked to one another with a smirk. On Hau'oki, wrapped around his neck and tied in a bow as a Focus Sash. Eos held the Leftover apple in a small satchel that hung off her side. When they heard the snap, her Glaceon used his cold body to freeze the air. Suddenly pushing off the platform, Hail began to gather and fall from the sky. Using this moment to try and flash her opponents, Eos used Fairy Wind. Pieces of hail was gathered in the wind and hurled at the Passimian first. A glittering effect danced within the ice crystals, illuminating where the combination strike was going, but also hoping that it would blind one of X’s partners before they had time to react. The grace each of her partners had was notable. They were trained to react to certain sounds in battle, and held themselves up high with confidence. Not one of arrogance (well..Glaceon could be taken as such), but with beauty.

The Wishiwashi could be taken care of later, as in terms of match ups, the other Pokémon posed a bigger threat.

It was a day before the Wallace Cup would officially start that Gold arrived in Sootopolis. He decided to use the time he had until the event to look around the city and make himself familiar with the area, maybe even meet other competitors that had to already have arrived for sure.

Currently, he was walking around the stadium, looking at it from the outside (and searching for the entrance). His Furret was excitedly trailing behind him, running off on her own at irregular intervals to go look or sniff at something that caught her interest before returning to his side.
