and even IF this was to ~escape oppression~ , who cares? what control over others do you have? NONE. its THEIR choice , THEIR right to do what they want..

Watching a video about the term white passing and how it essentially orginally meant what would be the same as being a "stealth" trans person and she keeps saying its non-applicable today.. but all i can think is "meeee!! me!!"

love pissing off people who are desperate to prove their nonwhiteness and how they are the most oppressed lightskinned person ever (they don't benefit from anything not even colorism because they're special) - with just my identity.

they see us as the same, because I am mixed & yt passing asf so they project themselves onto me so when I identify as something other than my socially imposed race, they get PISSED, because to them it's like I am validating their insecurities that they're too white.

this also happens with the mere mention of colorism with some of the more egregious ones.
