Here as some makeup tips that I commonly see in the white women around me that I adopt in order to feel less racial dysphoria. Please feel free to use these tips if you're any kind of femme POCtW/transwhite:

1. Heavy mascara/spider lashes. Many POC women tend to wear lash extensions/fake lashes (black, latina), or wear light mascara (asian). I often see white women - especially if they're blonde - wear like 3-5 coats of mascara!

2. Inner eye corner highlight. I actually love this, because it makes your eyes pop, but you need to be careful if you have a wider nose bridge.

3. Minimal base makeup. The use of concealer is generally more popular than that of foundation, except for special occasions. And as you know, concealer must be used sparingly!

4. Blush across the cheeks and nose. Growing up, when I was experimenting with makeup, I was always told not to wear blush b/c it wouldn't look natural on my skin color. I'm so happy I didnt listen to those people!!! You just need to find a blush with the right color, experiment with tints, and use different brands.

5. Lighter pink lipstick colors. Also, use glosses instead of lipstick; products put on the lips should be translucent rather than opaque.

6. Bronzer > Contour. Contour tends to look harsh and may unintentionally darken your skin, or make hyperpigmentation look worse. Bronzer will give you a golden look without look like you have severe skin discoloration.
