Professional Development Plan for myself?
Teehee~
My Opportunity Map
Looking at my opportunity map that I just done, I listed some skills that can help me get a career in the near future. I did list some wild card skills just in case something goes terribly wrong, I know that I will always a plan B to back myself up. Also, there are some skills are not listed because I’m not so sure if I want to actually enhance these skills and improve myself to it. But for now, I’m not going to list them out.
As for the Knowledge Economy, I believe having transferable skills such as, marketing, communication, and so on; are really good in the current era, as you can either use it to enhance yourself better if you already learned it or you could learn it from the beginning. I would definitely like having great communication skills as communication and relationship are formed by speech, chat and talking. So I believe having those skills are crucial in the world today. Because of this, I will definitely improve myself in this area to further gear up for the future of work and be a great worker of the future.=)
As for the Asian Century, just I have mention in one of my earlier post, I believe Opportunity aspect will be the most important for me as from my mind map, and you can see that I would like to start my own business in the near future. I see lots of great potential in Asia as they still can grow in dramatically ways in terms of economy and infrastructure although Asia itself have a lot of internal problems but I believe that it can start to change from within by us as the future generation of workers and leaders. I also believe that once they internal government systems of Asian countries start to change, I do think that the country will definitely improve in economy and relations and infrastructures. But all of these have to start from the new generation, the children of tomorrow, we got to educate them about the future. And we are here to make a difference in the world with our work and knowledge. So hopefully I can start my own business and help improve the world bit by bit. ^-^
My Mission Statement
Vision Statement
“I aim to be a world-class event organizer who provides audiences and clients with long-lasting and happy memories.” –Matthew 2016.
^ The vision above was my initial statement when I started this class at the beginning of the semester. But now, after really giving my future a good thinking, I came to realise that I really do not know what I would want to do in the future as my career pathway. But there is one thing that I do know what I want to become. I want to be someone respectable in today’s society.
So here is my new Vision Statement: “To become the next Bill Gates in self-development and love God.”- Matthew 2016.
Mission Statement
With my new Vision Statement, I wish to become the next Bill Gates. Be it self-development or success or businessman-wise, I would like to be someone as respectable as Bill Gates. Also, I did mention about loving God too for I’m a Christian. I will read the Bible daily and pray daily and seek him and do God’s work.
I definitely want to complete my degrees: Bachelor of Business (International Business) and Bachelor of International Studies, which will likely be completed by the end of 2018 and get myself a job to sustain myself. I’m believe myself to be a determined person, only when I set my mind on something that I want to achieve or complete like an achievement or goals. No matter how tough the goal is, I will see it done.
I’m a family-oriented, creative, analytical, and positive person. I’m family-oriented because I think that relationships in general are the best things in life. I prefer having a deep relationship with someone, be it friends or spouse or family, rather than being superficial.
I’m creative because ever since I was young, I always tend to use my imaginative ideas to create something from Lego blocks or doodle it out on a piece of paper. I also like to get other people ideas and mash them up and create something out from it. Even till this day, I still tend to come up with some pretty crazy ideas.
You can say that I’m quite up in the air type of person since I was young, but ever since I gained more knowledge and information throughout the years of growing up, I can say that I have now become quite analytical to situations that are presented to me. The current me, tend to analyse every possible situation outcomes. This somehow led me to overthink sometimes which really stop me from doing things that I think is risky or not beneficial which in fact they are not after thinking back of that particular situation.
I’m also a positive individual, although I do often tend to analyse my situations, I will try my very best to get best possible positive outcomes rather than the negatives outcomes, I’m believe I’m positive because when my friends are in the slumps, I would always encourage them and try my best to help them get out from the dark times as much as I could.
I still have about 2 years before I graduate from Flinders University. So during that time, I think I would be able to know what I want to really do as my future career during my time in Flinders. But for now, I would use every opportunity that is given to me and let it not go to waste and use it to the fullest.
Personal Mission Statement:
To leave a legacy that will be looked unto for generations to come.
And it feels like heaven in your arms
Hi I write music when I'm bored and I'll post it here. I learn and play drums and I also picked up guitar and a bit of keyboards. I am currently studying in Diploma in Music and Audio Technology but
IT'S DONE! Both songs are up on my Soundcloud above. Apparently they are too big even in mp3 form so I'll post a link to my Soundcloud here.
I'm not very happy with the ending to Colder Than Ice. I added about two to three bars extra at the end and have the bass signalling the end to the song. It's simple but effective haha
Roger suggested referencing this song (Plaid's Two Rooms) for the outro. The soft pad layer suspends the song, adds a touch of shimmering light and gives the section some warmth. It is showcased around the 1:30 mark.
