I’ve got an idea.
An amazing idea.
I just can’t pull it off by myself.
I have decided to turn my short story series, Lavender and Arsenic, into a podcast. For those of you who don’t know, L&A is a story about seventeen year old Lillie McGowan who winds up dead, but is unsure of how she got that way. The podcast will be Lillie speaking from the beyond, and each podcast more clues will be provided until eventually the listeners can figure out who killed/ what happened to Lillie.
Now, here is where I need help.
I have no idea how to go about starting a podcast. If you have any advice or tips, lemme have it.
Also, my voice sounds like rocks rolling around in a trash can. I will definitely need a voice actor for Lillie. Right now, this would be a free thing with input on how the story goes, but in the future could be a paid thing. I’m making this for art and the story’s sake, not to get rich. Although, getting rich would not be awful.
If you are interested in voicing Lillie, please send me a message and I’ll send you the first episode and you can record a snippet. I only as that you are at least 18 for legal reasons, and that you understand this is a long plot and would require a commitment of at least 30 episodes.
I’m super excited for this, and I hope you all will love the finished product.
