It’s A Movement: You Had Me At Black City Tour
It seems like today, media is bent on keeping Black stories out of the spotlight. (Underground, The Get Down)
Well to combat this, a year ago my sister, Martina and I started a podcast called You Had Me at Black!
You Had Me At Black is a storytelling podcast where we bring on Black millenials to tell true life stories as a way to reclaim the negative one sided Black narrative we see in media.
Now we are launching a Kickstarter to grow our podcast platform and bring our live experiences - now hosted in Oakland CA - to different cities across the country.
How cool would it be to bring this across the country? To NY, Baltimore, Philly or LA?
...to continue the traction and recognition we've had over the last year?
Published 41 stories from Black Millennials on our podcast
Listeners have downloaded episodes of our podcast 50k times across the US, UK and South Africa
600 people have attended our live storytelling events in Oakland, CA
We were invited to attend President Obama’s South X South Lawn festival at the White House
But we need some help to keep our *glow* up. Please consider supporting our campaign, and sharing it with your friends and professional circles. Here's how:
1. Contribute to the Kickstarter, here. We're raising $25k. If we don't completely reach it, we won't receive ANY of the contributions, so any bit counts.
(Literally between the two of us, we have around a couple thousand of friends, and if you and everyone else donated at least $50, we'd reach our goal!)

WE HAVE 15 DAYS PLEASE PLEASE DONATE!
2. Share on social media (and please repost often!)
