@kaiserkorresponds wrote a beautiful piece on Lonely!Jon, and asked me to bring it to life. How could I refuse?? I had so much fun making it and it was a delight to practice some new editing skills (if you didn't notice them, then i did my job!)

Chapter 4: The Desolation
-
Chapter four of @celosiaa and @taylortut ‘s wonderful fic is here! I am officially halfway through their completed chapters. This was such a fun chapter to read, even if it was absurdly early in the morning because that is when my house is at its quietest. I loved seeing Jon, Martin, and Tim in the warm moments of domesticity. Enjoy!

catch me cryin bc i’m so excited about this! I recorded this lil ditty courtesy of @celosiaa-fics / @celosiaa . Its a podfic of one of their fanfics and it was so! fun! I have a couple more in the works too. It just feels right for TMA content to exist in audio form.

Once, Jon had been self-conscious about his grays. It had been an outward sign of weakness, or so he’d thought. A signal of the truth he’d tried so hard to hide: that he was overworked, frequently tired, prematurely frail. Only human, in other words. Before he’d come to work at the Magnus Institute—before he’d taken that fateful promotion—he’d resented being only human.
How times change.

Jon and Martin (and Martin) get their happily ever after.
This was so fun. I love the domesticity; I think you can hear me smiling in a few lines because it’s just so sweet. It’s just so wonderful to even consider the possibility that the apocalypse might have a happy ending. We can live in blissful ignorance that The Magnus Archives is a horror podcast as long as possible...Thanks for enabling me @ostentenacity

This is one of my FAVORITE AU series and I am so excited @celosiaa and @taylortut are letting me record it! Absolutely wonderful and heartbreaking.
Hello! 😇
Just a reminder from your favorite podfic-recorder that I am open to taking requests for fanfic “covers,” aka reading aloud a fanfic like an audiobook. I have six great examples on my AO3 of my work, searchable here under #podfic_to_a_tea and on AO3 as rosy_cheekx.
I’ve done works for The Magnus Archives and Critical Role thus far but am open to any and all fanfics (with some rules of content). Please send me an ask with any questions!

Chapter 3, The Dark, is up! I love this fic so much and @celosiaa and @taylortut are so talented! I loved getting into all the voices of the archive staff but I am realizing how HARD it is to do Tim’s voice quietly. He is so naturally loud. But anyways, this chapter is one of my faves so far; the conversation about therapy in the flashback gets me.

The man on the table was, objectively, beautiful. He was also, in many ways, objectively dead. Indeed, the latter fact had been the source of some consternation among the staff at University College Hospital, and before that at St Bartholomew’s, where the man had initially been checked in. This consternation, of course, was the reason that Martin Blackwood was there at all. He needed a story: and The Man Who May or May Not Be Dead was as good as any other for a slow weekend in a long summer.
It finally happened. I’m using a British accent for a UK native’s fic...What a terrifying thought. ANYWAYS Reminiscences is one of my favorite fics and if you haven’t read it, what are you waiting for?? Maybe you can read it and listen in tandem and get the full immersive experience. I think i binged all of it in 2 days?SO much love to @auralqueer for creating such a painfully beautiful world that DEFINITELY-didn’t-make-me-cry-on-my-first-read-not-even-a-little.
