Drarry, E, 16 hours. Summary: Harry and Draco are perfectly fine, separately minding their business in 2004, when the Unspeakables conscript them into service... in the First War against Voldemort. Come for mutual pining and forced proximity in a 1980 hotel room, stay for young Sirius and philosophising about immortality and wormholes. And an eighties cowboy soap opera.

I've listened to this podfic twice this year, and the second time just made me fall in love with it even more. This fic is brilliant! I experienced heartache and laughter and every emotion in between listening to this. I absolutely loved the execution of the time travel, and I'm fully in love with how Draco and Harry are written!

I especially enjoyed the brilliant sound-effects from the time period that made me feel like I was right there in the room.

I think most of us has read this by now, but I couldn't do this fest without bringing this up, because I just love it so much. I read (or listen to the podfic) at least twice yearly. It's just that good.

(juhu :)) i found liannabobs most wonderful podfic of katie forsythes hope-verse on an old(-ish) harddrive :) yay! love it to pieces. it got lost when i swapped my phone/player. and it was one of the files that got lost in jinjurlies rebooting too. i was so sad :( now i’m so happy :)

and make me laugh so much: lockedinjohnlock’s podfic of sussexbound’s “closeted”

“Truth or Dare” while locked in a closet…the summary sounds - silly… yet behind that lies delight :) oh, how this made me laugh! what a marvellous piece of podfic! the best kind, the kind that even heightens the joy of reading the fic :) lockedinjohnlock makes the dialogue come to life so splendidly. which in turn emphasizes sussexbound’s talent for writing excellent dialogue. which (apparently and judgeing by so many dialogues in “real” fiction and so much in television that's often so awful, like… who talks like that?) seems really hard to do.
