PLEASE recommend me FICTIONAL podcasts/audio dramas !!!! i go through >8hrs hours of audio media a day at work and the backlog is thinning out again. and the more niche the better because I've listened to most of the popular ones. even if it's short it's always nice to add to the list
bonuses:
- mystery/murder themed
- narrator has a nice/non-shrill voice/good audio quality
- not true crime/'true story reenacted"/etc (BUT fictional stories pretending to be true crime is a+)

Percy Weasley is not particularly reckless, until he is, once, on the anniversary of his brother's death. For most people, the idea of sending oneself through time to correct one's mistake would remain a fantasy, something to dwell on in the middle of the night, but Percy has always been too capable for his own good.
Featuring: a reluctant spy, an unlikely friendship between a ghost and a lonely student, a portrait, very few friends, several very lengthy conversations about soul magic, and far too many Horcruxes.
(Or, an attempt to answer the question, if someone intelligent was sent back through time, armed only with the word 'Horcrux' and a general knowledge of the main timeline––not to mention a keen understanding of the Hogwarts curriculum––could that person logic his way to defeating the Dark Lord? Only time will tell).
PODFIC!
I’ve been working on this Harry Potter Podfic written by the wonderful @mymovingfingerwrites for a while. I post whenever I finish the next chapter; and I’m having a lot of fun doing it. There’s already 14 hours of audio available for listening!
Summary:
Y/n is nervous. They’re going to perform infront of a crowd for the first time. Luckily for them, Jaskier is by their side the whole time.

Jaskier sits in one of the furthest corners of the tavern, and one of the more crowded ones too. He is preparing his lute for the evening’s performance, and he’s very excited about this it. The day will mark the first time his friend, (Y/n), will perform in front of an audience.
He knows what they’re capable of, and he knows that a crowd would love to see them on stage, but they can never bring themselves to perform in front of a crowd. So when they offered to join Jaskier on his next performance, Jaskier was shocked but that quickly turned to be overjoyed when they did confirm that, no, he was not hearing them wrong.
As excited as Jaskier is about the performance, (Y/n), isn’t matching his excitement level.
He glances up from his lute as wide grin forms, “Are you ready?”
“No. Oh gods no, why did I agree?” When it was previously mentioned that (Y/n)’s excitement level didn’t match their friend’s that statement held. For you see, they are currently shaking with nerves at the mere prospect of going up on stage.
Jaskier rolls his eyes and gets back to his lute, “You’ll be fine. You’re going to have to do this at some point.”
“But they’re watching.” They whisper yell back.
“That’s the point of performing in front of an audience, (Y/n),” he notices from the corner of his vision as (Y/n) slowly looks over their shoulder at the full tavern that their about to perform to, and he swears that they have gone paler.
He puts his lute down and places a reassuring hand on their shoulder. They look back to Jaskier as they meet his gaze and Jaskier sees the fear in their eyes, “Hey, you’ll alright, I’ll be here,” He squeezes their shoulder to make sure there won’t wander off and anchor them to the present, “if halfway through you want an out, I’ll make sure to cause enough of a commotion so that they don’t notice you leave, alright?”
(Y/n) stares at him for a moment and couldn’t help the slow forming smile as it washes out some of their nerves, “I’d… I’d like that”
He smiles and nods back.
“Okay, now,” He takes a deep breath then stands up, lute in his hand. He spares (Y/n) one last glance before the show starts. They, too, take in a deep breath to calm their nerves and Jaskier spots a small spark their eyes.
The concerns of his mouth twitch upward as he looks onto the crowd. Strumming his lute and grabbing their attention. Here we go.

Summary:
A podfic of akaiiko's "don't call me baby (unless you mean it)" aka the best fic to have ever blessed my eyes. Ever.
Original story summary:
Getting with Shiro is worth anything. Anything. So Keith is going to fake being the cliche with daddy issues - complete with stuffed animals, booty shorts, and an utter loss of dignity - until he makes it. Hopefully along the way he'll figure out why it feels like being Shiro's baby boy might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
Keith has a moment where he wonders, somewhat blankly, how he bought this perfectly serviceable shirt and then promptly forgot its existence. Then he looks down. And remembers in a series of post traumatic flashbacks exactly why he’d blocked the shirt from his consciousness.
Namely, three words, in a font that isn’t comic sans but comes insultingly close to it, garnished with red glitter: Daddy’s Little Boy.
“Keith?” Very slowly, he turns to look at the closed door to his bedroom. “Keith, are you okay? I heard…” Probably some kind of vaguely strangled noise. But Shiro’s too nice to articulate that kind of thing. “Keith? If you don’t answer, I’m coming in.”

Summary:
O dearest brother mine,
I sincerely hope you’re still alive to read this letter – if it finds you at all. I don’t know if you can receive anything from the outside right now, even though I used the same messenger service as before. I have a pretty good idea that you’re right in the middle of it all, as always, following that captain of yours to the end of the universe and beyond, if needs must. It’s just that you care too much – that’s always been your problem.
