They said that floor was bouncy and it is.

The Mykayla/Jade battle of execution!

Based on podium training, having fun speculating between the two non-team members for USA wag. Overall, I've been left wondering what on earth Mykayla has done to dramatically improve her execution in such a short space of time and also like, where was this sooner..??? Jade's technique isn't as impressive as it once was and she still obv has the expression of a dead fish (sry jade) on floor which is actually just impressive at this point. her face doesn't even look like what she's doing is hard. it just ._. Here they both are on vault with a cheng, myk is using 2 hand like a pro but is still v squashed, jade almost does a full turn on the table?! and paseka legs

and then their height off is similar

okay bars is where mykayla gets most impressive. did you know she had a nice lines and a beautiful toe point in her?? i sure didn't, she hadn't shown us it before..!

compared to jade

i only had an awkward front on perspective to view on beam before the videos went bye bye on youtube so nothing there. but split shapes were marginally better than expected

and then floor, it will for sure be form vs. artistry. who will be docked the most? will jades triple double be worth the risk? what exciting times

this has been fun! and a nice way to move on from the fuckery of trials and team selection and just try to enjoy what we're left with. can't wait for quals which feels like it will be the most exciting part of team usa's olympics!
