the mural in Czeremcha was """controversial""" and got vandalized because it depicts a diverse society, one of the characters is wearing a rainbow shirt, and also it alludes to a painting by Anna Grzymała entitled "Take off the uniform, apologize to your mother". so, predictably, the far right clowns weren't the biggest fans of it

saint John Nepomucene is the patron saint supposed to protect from floods and a bunch of other disasters, it's a very common figure in some regions of Poland, Podlasie included
