I somehow managed it to edit my twins together in one pic. And I wanna show you Sinus and Sethralis. As you can see only their glow is the same. I just think even pod twins can look different. Tho, I'm very excited to figure out their story. I loosely leaned them on the theme ,,Sea" and Sinus will indeed play a bigger role in Cantha and accompany Eos on his journey. For Sethralis....he is planned as a member of the pact where he learns that he have a brother and tries to find out why no one told him that no what's the secret behind Sinus
Every time Chouette says love. Love, most colors, like love. Love. A pulse of golden aura echoes to the beat of her surging gale-empath, and sweeps away the very essence of their grim surrounding. The very Dream tremors and echoes and responds to her valiant declaration. And change, profound and instantaneous and unexpected, touches every malicious form that had once crowded upon the two sylvari.
Lethargic violets are stripped from the amorphous blob, freeing luminescent, whisping butterflies to fly up and away. Loss becomes nothing, for shadows have no place in the presence of blinding, beautiful light.Woeful blues unfurl, and become a white bird that streaks through the foggy air, chasing away the humidity.
And once she had uttered her final say in this matter- Love, good - the very ground beneath them becomes opalescent. The shimmering, multicolor wonder chases away the cold, crackles through the icy floor - so polished, that it reflects the beautiful star-studded skies above, which had been uncovered in the wake of wonderful Hope.

Waking Dream scene for my Hibou and her younger podtwin, Chouette (played by Kattami)! Their dream promised them strength in hope and love, strength that chases the manifestations of bad feels away.
Short story with my Warden Sylvari Twins Yukoriin and Mikariin. Yuko has a nightmare and Mika sings him back to sleep with my favorite guild wars 2 song Fear Not This Night.
The breeze blew in from the window, bringing cool night air into the room. The barracks were quiet, the only sounds in the camp being the night watch and the wind rustling through the grass. Mikariin and Yukoriin both slept in soft hammocks in their shared quarters. Yuko's was closer to the window and their gear was piled around along with spare clothes and their various belongings. However, all wasn't still in the room. Yuko's hammock swung a bit, his restless sleep amplified by how he wasn't used to sleeping in one. His empathy was unstable, waves of panic and fear wafting off him like dark tendrils of thick fog. His podtwin slept soundly.
However, as the night went on, his empathy started to press on Mika, slowly nudging her awake. She groaned and shifted as her eyes fluttered sleepily open. It was still night... why was she awake.... but then she felt it. The tendrils sent a jolt through her, a pit of nausea welling up in her stomach from the fear and anxiety radiating off her twin. She sat up and saw Yuko shuddering and swaying in his hammock. She tried to push back against his empathy, pushing herself out of her own hammock and crossing the room in two strides of her long legs. Neither of them worse anything to bed as Sylvari often didn't think twice about nudity.
"Yuko," she grasped his shoulder, shaking him. He didn't respond, face contorted in a painful expression and his glow pulsing unnaturally. She shook him harder, speaking louder, "Yukoriin, wake up!" She fought to press her empathy on him to try and dispel the nightmare.
Suddenly, he jolted awake, his white eyes flashing open and filled with terror. He tried to swipe at her blindly but she caught him arm in an iron grip. She felt deep tremors running through him and her heart clenched with worry and anxiety of her own.
"Yuko, it's me. You're ok. It was just a nightmare," she soothed quietly but firmly as she bent over his hammock. It took him a moment to register and slowly some of the tension relaxed out of him. The darkness in his empathy receded, replaced by a rawness of shock. "Shhh... it's ok," she murmured, kneeling down beside him. She tried to press a calming empathy to him, but she was never good at that kind of thing. She held a gentle touch to her twin as he blinked back moisture in his eyes, his luminescence slowly returning to normal. Yuko looks around the room, out the window at the still night, then to his twin - all the while his empathy tossing around like a piece of driftwood in a storm.
"I'm here, brother," Mika murmured, getting up and nudging him over gently to slip into the hammock. She wrapped her arms gently around his shoulders and pulled him into a half sitting position in her lap. He shuddered and curled into her, realizing finally it had been a nightmare. She hummed lightly, doing her best to let her empathy wash over and calm him, her own heart thudding in her chest with anxiety for him. They sat there for a while, just swinging lightly and listening to the sounds of the night.
"Mika," Yuko finally said, his voice a bit thick.
"Yes?"
He cleared his throat, "Can you sing?" The melody he had in mind wafted to her.
She hesitated, "I have the recording of that one by the actual singer."
"I like how you sing it better."
She felt her chest tighten a little. He knew that she didn't like to sing around anyone, even him but if he was asking it now... she'd felt the deep pain of his empathy from the nightmare.
"Alright," she murmured, swallowing the sudden lump in her throat.
He curled up into her more, using her shoulder as a pillow as he stared out the window. Wordless thanks and ease echoing to her through their bond.
Mikariin took a deep breath, her voice hesitant and a bit unsteady at times as she started singing softly, her alto voice soft.
Fear not this night
you will not go astray
Though shadows fall
still the stars find their way
Awaken from a quiet sleep
Hear the whispering of the wind
Awaken as the silence grows
in the solitude of the night
Her voice wasn't the lilting soprano that the song was originally sung in, no music to accompany it like the recording she had. However, it brought a deep sense of longing and passion to the words that wasn't present in the higher and slightly faster pace the original went.
Darkness spreads through all the land
and your weary eyes open silently
Sunsets have forsaken all
the most far off horizons
Nightmares come when shadows grow
Eyes close and heartbeats slow
There was almost a mournful quality to her tone, like a song sung after a long bloody battle. No joy at victory but a sense of grim accomplishment. They sat there in the still of night, the next day coming soon . . . the next threat looming ever present on the horizon.
Fear not this night
you will not go astray
Though shadows fall
still the stars find their way
And you can always be strong
Lift your voice with the first light of dawn
Dawn's just a heartbeat away
Hope's just a sunrise away
Through the chorus, her voice grew a bit stronger. It hung like sharp glass in the air, beautiful and reflecting light, but with the promise of pain once it hit the floor if one wasn't cautious not to step on it. Despite not liking to sing around anyone, her voice was one that made the world still to listen.
Distant sounds of melodies
calling through the night to your heart
Auroras, mists, and echoes dance
in the solitude of our life
Pleading, sighing arias
gently grieving in captive misery
Darkness sings a forlorn song
yet our hope can still rise up
Nightmares come when shadows roam
Lift your voice, lift your hope
Yuko had closed his eyes, his breathing slowing and empathy losing all of the nightmare. Mika looks out the window still, the moon not in sight but the stars pained the black sky like glitter dust. She got lost in the melody, singing with a deeper passion that tugged at her own heart. Not just anxiety for her brother. She too didn't know where life was going to go.
Fear not this night
you will not go astray
Though shadows fall
still the stars find their way
And though the night sky's filled with blackness,
fear not, rise up, call out and take my hand
Fear not this night
you will not go astray
Though shadows fall
Still the stars find their way
Mika knew her brother had finally drifted back to sleep, his empathy no longer clogged with fear or anxiety; his breath was steady and slow. She shifted into a little more comfortable position, holding him to her and keeping the hammock rocking soothingly. She kept singing though, her heart heavy and light at the same time.
Fear not this night
you will not go astray
Though shadows fall
Still the stars find their way
And you can always be strong
Lift your voice with the first light of dawn
Dawn's just a heartbeat away
Hope's just a sunrise away
Her voice had dropped back into a soft whisper as she finished. She continued to hum the melody to herself. She knew sleep is what she needed but the stillness of the night was both a balm and an affliction - the relief Yuko was soothed and the anxiety of the future to come. It wasn't until the sky started to darken with the dawn that she finally drifted back to sleep.
Leatryl and Gavoriath - young Sylvari podtwins of the Dream.
I really love these two already okay, you do not understand. Also, Leatryl's goal in life is to be as amazing and as strong as he thinks his big brother is. Don't ever talk shit about Gav in front of him unless you want a faceful of Mesmer clone.
