Praying to Get Out of Being Stuck By Jermaine A Callando There were many days that I pray for a better us. This time was different. I got on my knees, clapped my hands together, and I pray for... Pray for things to get better, not for us, but for just me. I seeing that prayers that I have of our union never get answer, so it time to go alone, and I ask God, why have I chosen someone that can't stay faithful. Yes, on bended knees, I ask God, why have can't I let go of someone that constantly devalues me and I still stay with him. I let out tears, while I kept my eyes close tight, praying to God that give me strength, and stop the same old cycle, and let me began anew. I pray to him, that he forgives me for being to broken, and that will give me that strength to allow my family and friends in and become the foundation that I couldn't lay down with you. It seem like a simple five minutes to some, for me, I allow myself to open up what I kept inside. Like the pain, he cause me, and the doubt, he made me feel, last was the how he broke me. I pray to God to catch me, cause I've fallen in a pit that I couldn't see out. I keep tryin to climb up out of it, then he say something that fall over and yet again I'm back in the pit, with someone that dig the pit deeper, darker. I was tired of the back and forth, of the circles and just tired of being used by him, and letting myself down. I prayed to allow myself take ownership of my part of what went wrong in this relationship and now... I'm ready for a change, so with this prayer, I hope that God will guide me, will heal the pain and help me out of the endless pit. I pray for anew, I hope that you understand soon there will be no more of an us, that time is up with you and me. Hopefully you'll move on with your heart like you have with your body, I will still love you, just as someone that taught me a lesson.
