The act of seeing movement so fast
So fast to turn,
so quick to flip.
A snap of the fingers, and it’s all in the distance.
Pain sets in and becomes a well known best friend.
Numbness consumes the body and all of it’s existence.
Where was hope when the brain needed a friend?
Tear through the body,
Rip out the veins.
Hold out the heart,
tension on the brain.
Make a tight fist,
finish the hearts ache.
Look at the shell, once known as a body.
Watch how it crumbles.
Watch as it blows away.
Betrayal hits like belt lashes to the face.
Eyes watch as the new ones dance.
Lights flashing,
belts lashing,
crowds shouting.
How could a back turn so fast?
Arms intertwine,
lips look like eyes.
A soulless glare is not the one this time.
A strong fire burns,
deep inside.
The lips touch and new songs are made.
The soulless glare fades away.
How could a brain just forget like that?
A road has been crossed,
a choice has been made.
Forget the old one,
who are they?
All that can be seen is hurt and pain,
all that can be heard is songs of hurt and pain.
Innocent eyes,
choose to be blind.
Ears that only listen to new songs these days.
Is pureness really pure if it can cross a road so quick?
Is innocence truely innocent if it can dance with a new one so fast?
Was it all what it was made out to be, or was one only truley really believing?
