Hi um hello, i guess? We've never really talk but i notice you like JeanMarco too? And i read that tags where you said you just read a college au stuff? What's the title if you dont mind? Idk i need more jeanmarco in my life (ok this is weird omg)

aaaaahhh yes omg I really love jeanmarco don't worry this isn't weird at all! thanks for reading my tags haha, I mostly just go through the ‘most kudos/views/bookmarks’ jeanmarco tags on AO3 so these aren’t exactly unusual, but I’ll give you a few recs of my faves, i hope it’s ok if I publish this!!

As much as I ever could - this is the fic I was talking about in my tags, it’s really lovely and alternates points of view so you get a really good insight into both of their minds, and it just has lots of great college au stuff!! it’s complete at about 200k words (lmao, I kind of wish I’d taken my time with it since it was so nice, but of course I marathoned the whole thing in like a day hah)

Wisteria is just gorgeous, seriously the best fic I’ve read so far ngl!! It’s a beautiful florist/policeman au set years after jean and marco were in college together but ended up drifting apart. It’s just so stunning and made me cry many times but ends in a beautiful way!! The first part is 56k and that is even great on it’s own, but part 2 (forget me not, describing their time in college and leading up to the events in wisteria) is absolutely life changing, and that’s 95k! there are also a lot of little oneshots set afterwards, I 100% recommend reading this I’m so in love

Droplets - another college au haha, jean has a really bad family life and other issues going on but marco is his pool boy and just a lot of stuff happens to them and their friends and it’s really really good!!! it isn’t completed and is currently about 200k, but I think it’s definitely worth reading! it can definitely be described as a slow build, but I ended up getting totally immersed in the world and it’s so well written and portrays the supporting characters really well too! so much interesting stuff and like a thousand really cool scenarios - you know a fic is good when it makes you fall in love with the characters and this one seriously did that for me! it kind of… makes me feel nostalgic for things that haven’t happened yet

I hope you have lots of fun reading, you can definitely come to talk to me about jeanmarco any time you want haha, I am definitely ok with discussing fics and headcannons!! the one bit of advice I will give though is to take your time - I always read fics too fast and let them destroy my life in all-nighters but end up missing them so much afterwards… I hope you enjoy! xxx
