Book spread for tonight!!! All the poets have a million books so my desk is CROWDED
I'm reading in TWO Zeitgeist Press readings for Poetry Flash at the Art House Gallery and Cultural Center, 2905 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA, USA. One is Thursday, 5/2/24, 7 PM, and the other is Sunday, 5/5/24, 3 PM. Both are free!
The first is a new book release party with my three good friends Bruce Isaacson, Andrew Romanelli and James Norman. The second is a memorial reading where each of six local authors reads a poem by a Zeitgeist Press author who is no longer with us and a work of their own.

ICYMI, here we are on Youtube! Thank you Joyce Jenkins and Richard Silberg of Poetry Flash for hosting Bruce Isaacson, Deborah Fruchey (reading from Rudy Jon Tanner's recent book), and me yesterday. We had people from Peru, Las Vegas and Santa Barbara there! Thank you to all who came, and also to Poetry Flash's technical wizard Rosalinda, for an excellently curated and well run reading with an enthusiastic and responsive audience.
I’m really excited to be a part of this reading for Poetry Flash, hosted by Poetry Flash Editor and Director Joyce Jenkins, with my publisher Bruce Isaacson of Zeitgest Press, as well as Zeitgeist Press author and editor Deborah Fruchey, remembering our recently deceased friend Rudy Jon Tanner, on Sept. 19 at 3 PM Pacific Time on Zoom.
More Four Way Books Events This Weekend
On Friday, April 24th at 7:30 PM, Rachel Eliza Griffiths (Lighting the Shadow) and Cynthia Cruz (Wunderkammer) are reading at the Sarah Lawrence Poetry Festival.
On Saturday, April 25th at 5:00 PM, Rachel Eliza Griffiths and Cammy Thomas (Inscriptions) will be reading alongside Michelle Gillett and Sara London as part of the Berkshire Festival of Women Writers.
Saturday, April 25th at 10 AM, upcoming Four Way Books author Reginald Dwayne Betts (Bastards of the Reagan Era) and Randall Horton will lead a workshop, “The Art of Memoir Writing,” at Chicago State University. The event is free and open to the public.
Also on Saturday, April 25th at 2:30 PM, Patrick Donnelly (Nocturnes of the Brothel of Ruin) will be reading with Lori Desrosiers, Charles Fort, Chivas Sandage, and Elizabeth Thomas for “Voices of Poetry: Off the Shelf.”
And on Saturday, April 25th at 7 PM, Four Way Books author Daniel Woolf (The Names of Birds) and Brian Komei Dempster (Topaz) will be reading with Dean Rader at Green Apple Books for “Clement: A Night of Poetry.”
Finally, on Sunday, April 26th at 3 PM, Daniel Woolf will be reading with John Shoptaw at Diesel, A Bookstore for Poetry Flash.
