The OCAD Zine Fair was fruitful. Busker a bunch of classic stanzas
three words: ESPRESSO, SECRET, PUNCH
it only took one punch
and he hit the ground
cracked a tile
a mouth full of espresso
coffee staining a white collared shirt
don’t steal my poem!
he found out the dirt
the secret let out
and a fight broke out over
a girl, it’s always a girl
the victor, still breathing
a heavy chorus
watches the man twice his weight
lay motionless by his feet
and the twist of his body
the throb of his hand
the idea that under circumstances outside
this moment,
they could have been friends.
