Kindness

It is that kindness that brought you to her.

That innocent soul who welcomed you without judgements. 

In that kind person, you found love. 

You pursued her kind heart. 

And the kindness in her learned to love you back.

But that eventually became her curse. 

A dagger straight to the heart. 

Her kindness was masked with bitterness and anger. 

But the purity in her heart cannot hold grudge.

Her heart forgave and forgives. 

Her kindness made its way back to you...again. 

And you neglected it...again. 

She cut you off completely, and that’s still being kind. 

This time, to herself.
