Obfuscate

Like thunder clouds on a sunny day averting your eyes when they meet hers like whispers under a blanket of sound or painting black lines on unspoken words

theatrical magic misdirection, talking shit, cracking jokes, can’t help how it seeps through the cracks how you feel for her.

oh, to be young and foolish.

as the saying goes, “love makes you blind.”

blind to the obvious and hyper-aware to the tell-tale signs of love; love was in the air, love is in the air. 

to gaze upon you was a miracle to me, to graze my fingertips across your very being amazes me. 

i ponder upon the whereabouts of the impending sense of insecurity and self-loathing i so religiously felt before your rainbow painted my monochrome life.

where is my insecurity, now that i glimpse into your soul? 

truth be told, your light and radiance had scattered away the demons in my heart until nothing filled it but pure love and care for your existence.

when your sweet cherry lips met mine, my world exploded; truly, this is what love feels like.

oh, to be young and foolish again.

Cheetos. Are. Heteronormative.

Cheetos!

They fill me with rage! As I read magazines, and turn the page, I see the dastardly puffs! Oh, I just hate the stuff!

Cheetos! Support heteronormative behaviour! Plus, the lack any good flavor! They make me want to become a savoir! To the poor, cheeseless gays.

Cheetos! They fill me with dread! My boiling blood is reaching my head, I’d delete them if I could, Hold on a sec, I’ll give one a try, Oh me, oh my. They’re quite good!

Quilts. In. Jam. Time to go to Gran’s, We wonder, what are her plans, Maybe she’ll make a ham, (But we secretly wish for quilts in jam)

She throws open the door,  We take a sniff, To catch a taste, To snatch a whiff, We smell the pies and muffins and lamb, But has she made the quilts in jam?

It is her secret recipe, Not made for kids like you and me, Passed down from Nan to Nan, But can we have the delicacy, Of yummy quilts in jam?

We sit at the table, And shake and squirm, We open our eyes, to try to learn, Our pupils stretch, this is no scam, She made us quilts in jam!

Science! Pure agony, A deathtrap to my grades and me, I especially hate chemistry, It makes me want to die.

Math! A stupid thing, Being taught makes my ears ring, Of horrible thoughts and other things, Oh why, oh why, oh why.

Dicks! Come in all sorts, Curvy, straight, some with worts, If you misuse, you’ll go to courts, But used right, so good you’ll cry.
