And if, if you ever wonder why? The answer's simple, when the world left me cold and broken, there was you with a warm smile and compassionate hug to say "you'll" never be alone". And how can any man ever repay such a thing as great as that?

All I do is look for you, and when you're not there. to talk to; I'm gone too.
I know you talked about the little Black dress tonight, but I was really wondering about the Red this evening?
Sometime's I grab an image from an old Hollywood Classic like this and the words of my sentiments to share a private moment may or may not match the movie plot. For you to guess, I guess - and well? The why? Sometimes isn't just knowing it's you good enough?
P.S. I think the thoughts are still worth it.
"First Nights"
[So, my mind has been bogged down by those seemingly insignificant moments that often go overlooked as we all try to rush to the "good parts" of a story. Maybe they get passed over so quick, because they're insignificant in the world of infatuation. But, what about those moments, you know, when feelings get involved? Those first dates and first kisses that aren't about steamy sex and lust; rather those passions when the soul of a person can get hurt? What do they look like? And maybe they don't get much attention because they're so few and rare, you keep them to yourself in case they ever get a chance to play out in real life...throwing caution to the wind; how about we slip into that realm just between sleep and awake, where anything is possible...]
They had had a few casual conversations over the course of time and being a bit old fashioned he finally summoned up the courage to ask her father if he could take her out for the night. Reluctantly he agreed, probably more so at the urging of her mother and her than any of his wishes, but either way the dice fell in his favor in that small space of time.
He asked her to meet him at the local planetarium. There was a show being in held to mark the story tellers of the stars. He thought it was fitting since that's how they first met, stargazing through space. It was an event to honor the ancient legends handed down to us and bookmarked by the constellations of the stars.
The evening spent in quiet wonder captured both of their imaginations and set world around them to a music that both of them were swept away in. To be honest, he spent most of his time wondering if girls like her really liked this stuff; or is it just something they do to appease men? Either way, he didn't care for those few short hours that didn't seem long enough she was there with him.
As the event let out they made their way to front doors, his mind raced to find an excuse for a few more seconds in her presence. She broke the casual conversation they were having as they stepped out side the front door; "Well, I'm that way." she said, pointing in the opposite direction he arrived from.
"Oh, me too." he said. "Mind if I see you home? It's kind of late and..." she interrupted with a slight laugh to break the awkwardness of the situation; "I'd appreciate it if you did".
The two made casual small talk along the walk laughing and silence being the accompianment of a young budding love, until they stood at the stairs at the front door of her house. "Well, this is me." she said softly in a slightly sullen voice.
In a slightly anxious voice he said "Hey, you wanna hear a story they didn't cover for us tonight?". She looked a bit surprised and taken off gaurd all she could do was politly nod her head in approval. He placed his right hand on her shoulder and took a few steps around the side of her. Standing now directly behind her, he positioned his head so he could speak softly into her right ear. Pointing up the the late Autumn sky he pointed out the constellation Orion.
He said, as he reached up from behind her, tracing the outline of the constellation with his finger; "Orion, the first knight ever placed among the heavens above by the gods. Put there to protect a princess desguised as a unicorn".
His fingers leaving moving from the shape of The Hunter to begin tracing out that of Monoceros (The Unicorn) who stands right behind Orion's bright orange right shoulder. "See her there, right behind Betelgeuse?" He asked softly. As the warmth of his breath streamed down the side of her ear, caressing her neck.
"Uhhh, hummm" quivered across her vocal chords from deep inside her chest. It was the only sound her mind would allow her to make as half of her became lost in the visions of the skies while wrestling with the anticipation of something more.
He continued, "But, if you look closely at the heart of the unicorn princess, you'll see a colorful cluster; my favorite constellation." he ended with. As the words of his breath cascaded down the back of her neck he took a few more steps to stand directly in front of her again. "You know why it's my favorite?" he asked.
All she could do was shake her head gently left and right not knowing what he was to say next. He took a hold of both her hands warming them in his and said; "That bright cluster of stars is called the 'Christmas Tree Cluster' and when you look at it just right, it looks like a large upside down Christmas Tree filled in by a Christmas Tree Farm". Her cheeks blushed as her eyes tried to keep contact with his.
"And on a Christmas Tree Farm is the only place a gift like you could have come from; you know, when everything was just stardust" he finished with. His right hand slightly curled reached and slid gently down the side of her face as his fingers gently cupped under her chin.
With a soft nudge he urged her face closer to his as the skies and stars started to twirl around the two of them who stood motionless in a world of choas. Slowly, their eyes closed just as the breath between them started to mingle in the closing space between them. That place where two souls blend into one.
Both of them with pursed lips just about to dance under closed eyes where sparks fly; when suddenly the porch light came on and the front door opened with a loud noise startling them both from the moment they enjoyed.
"I think this night is over young lady! You better get inside now." her father said. She muttered something under her breath and turned and ran, partly embarrassed, but mostly mad. Slaming the screen door she ran up the stairs to her room. Her dad standing in the doorway the young man spoke; "I had a really great time with your daughter tonight sir. I do hope you'll let me see her again".
By know the young gentlemen could see her mother standing behind her father with a smile as the older man gave a sigh of contmept and while shutting the door just said "good night". The young man turned down the sidewalk and began to walk away when he heard a slight rapping from a glass pane.
He stopped to look up, it was her looking through the window at him, she held up something in the palm of her hand. He smiled and waved good-bye; he knew waht it was. He had slid a card into the palm of her hand as they stood there, the ace of hearts with a Tigger (or Pooh? ;) character on it. He thought to himself as he turned and walked away, all I had was an ace high flush with hearts and you never know how that's gonna play with a full house in this world of cards...oh, am I wrong, for thinking we could be somthin'...

I haven't looked at these in years! Smile - it's all because of YOU! And who makes love better than us?
I don't usually post old scraps of works, but I was taking a walk through some old paperwork of the stacks of projects I have started over the years and came across these (I learned a long time ago to never give the original working pieces away - and a hard copy is great to help prevent file loss and confusion ;).
Anyway, I know it's kind of hard to read a bit and there are a few pages missing out of it, but the idea itself was quite difficult to even get this far along with before I set it aside. In essence it takes a man and a woman (essentially Adam and Eve figures) and attempts to blend Western Philosophical myths and legends with the "Mans" path as he walks around the globe Westward.
And the Lady is placed in the Ancinet East - see the "princess in the coy pond" above [If I recall correctly there is a Chinese legend of a young girl whos tears fill a pond and Coy Fish appear and in essence one of those Coy Fish becomes a "prince"] - but it has been 10 years since I have studied it in depth. The Coy also has some other symbolism in Eastern Culture (Just like the birds and other pieces on other pages - not of it vulgar or meant to imply other more personal things).
It also seeks to blend two other natural thoughts about human existance, those who argue we came from the Earth and those who claim we come from water (it is interesting that 70% of the Earth is water and roughly 70% of the human body is water). The story takes the man from Earth like Adam and the Woman from Water.
As I said, it only ever got to a rough draft copy and it intertwines some very delicate ideals, that have to be approached with deep sincerity to preserve the integrity of the historical records they draw from. But, you do what you can when you're homeless ;). Who knows if they will ever turn into anything in the future - I've been spending my time working on other things.
And I thought, why not let you all enjoy a few more musings from the rambling mind of mind - besides in an online world full of bots, who knows if anyone posts anything real these days?
I thought I'd try developing the lost scenes from a film called "The Crime is Mine" with Copilot.
Here is what became of it:

Demons Demons silently sleeping.
Fallin' angels quietly screaming.
Nestled peacefully in your feathered berth chambers.
Covetously captivated in your peaceful sanctuary by the midnight magicians deceit of somber sorceries.
AWAKEN NOW treacherous fiends from bedlam's somber tombs; it is time for the reaping to begin.
