Biggest issue with Blitzball at this point: Doing too well.
Since you only get a reward when you get 1st, second, or 3rd place, that means you have to adjust how well you play if you want to get something specific. If you want that third place technique, you need to take a dive in the semifinals. Want to come in second in a season? You need to let the other teams
Don’t know if I over levelled my players, or if the AI is just really bad (leaning towards the latter) but it is difficult for me to lose against most of the teams at this point. It takes dedicated effort for most of the game just to let them score a single point. I can’t just take an early dive, I have to wait until they can actually
Hopefully it will get better once they level up some more, and maybe the prizes will rotate into first place slots so I don’t have to game the system. In the meantime, don’t tell the Blitzball Gaming Commissioner, pretty sure this is illegal.
