Is it strange hoping that one day IDW Comics creates a comic based off of Mario or Kirby. Like, I know Nintendo will probably never allow that to happen, Mario specifically does not have any kind of consistent lore for longer than like 3 games. But I could totally see IDW creating a super interesting story with the Kirby franchise or even the Zelda one. Just thinking about what they did with Transformers, Sonic, and Godzilla was amazing.
