Happy World Sparrow Day! World Sparrow Day was started on March 20, 2022, to raise awareness of Sparrows, and to bring to our attention our need to protect them, as there are places in the world like India where they are going down in population. On March 18, 2022 after our Full Moon Photo Shoot at Point Vicente Lighthouse, we visited the Point Vicente Interpretive Center with @blingrunner64 and @fred_melikian, and came across some little White Crowned Sparrows hanging out near us! White Crowned Sparrows are migrating birds that come to Southern California around the cooler Fall through Winter Seasons.
